How does Auto Schedule work with events?

Auto Schedule is a feature that can assign times to your tasks, based on your settings and availability. Auto Schedule cannot schedule your events, at least not yet. Instead, events are some landmarks which are considered for a better auto scheduling of your tasks.

If there is an event in the schedule, and it has a duration, no task will be auto-scheduled for this event's time. It means that you can also use events to block specific times of your day if you don't want any task to be auto-scheduled during that period (such as lunch breaks).
