Why can't my tasks be synced to another device?

Please confirm the version of iOS, iPadOS or macOS

Before starting, please confirm that you have upgraded iOS, iPadOS or macOS to the latest official version.

Please make sure you have upgraded to the latest version of Sorted³

Please make sure you have unlocked Sorted³ for PRO

iCloud synchronization is a function of PRO. Please follow the steps of "Settings-Get PRO" in Sorted³ to check whether your PRO status is available. Since PRO for macOS is sold separately, if you have not purchased the PRO for iOS+macOS Bundle before, then you need to upgrade for PRO for macOS separately.

Please make sure that you log in to iCloud on all devices with the same Apple ID

It’s important because your data in Sorted³ will only be synchronized between devices that log in with the same Apple ID. If you have recently logged in to iCloud with another Apple ID, please confirm in Settings app, this may be ignored.

iOS/iPadOS

Please open the Settings app on your iPhone/iPad, tap the option of Your Name at the top, and then check the Apple ID account (located below the avatar).

macOS

Please click "" in the top left corner of the desktop to open "System Preferences", find the "Apple ID" option and click on it, and then check the Apple ID account (located below the avatar).

Please make sure your iCloud is set up correctly

iOS/iPadOS

Please open the Settings app on your iPhone/iPad, tap the option of Your Name at the top, and then tap the "iCloud" option to confirm that iCloud is turned on. After confirmation, find "iCloud Drive" on this page and confirm that it has been opened, then scroll down the list to find "Sorted" and confirm that it has been opened.

Follow the steps of "Settings-iCloud Sync" in Sorted³ on iPhone/iPad to confirm that it’s turned on. (If the button is grayed, please check the previous step "For Apple ID")

macOS

Please click "" in the top left corner of the desktop to open "System Preferences", find the "Apple ID" option and open it, then click the "iCloud" option to confirm that iCloud is turned on. After confirmation, find "iCloud Drive" on this page and confirm that it has been checked, then click the "Options" button on the right to confirm that "Sorted" and "iCloud Drive" have been checked.

Follow the steps of "Settings-iCloud Sync" in Sorted³ on Mac to confirm that it is turned on. (If the button is grayed, please check the previous step "For Apple ID")

iCloud storage

Please open the iCloud page as described above and check whether your iCloud storage space is enough.

If your storage space is almost full, it will affect iCloud syncing. You can learn how to make more space available through the Apple documentation.

Please make sure your network is set up correctly

Sometimes, whether the network is already connected is often overlooked. Please check the network permissions for the Settings app and Sorted³ on your iPhone/iPad and other network settings.

Network permissions for Sorted³

Open the Settings app on your iPhone/iPad, tap the "WLAN" option, open the "Apps Using WLAN & Cellular", find "Sorted³" and make sure that the "Off" option is not selected, but one of the other two options is selected.

Open the Settings app on your iPhone/iPad, scroll down the page to find the "Sorted³" option, tap the "Wireless Data" option and make sure that the "Off" option is not selected, but one of the other two options is selected.

Network permissions for Settings app (iOS 13 / iPadOS 13 or later)

Open the Settings app on your iPhone/iPad, click on the "WLAN" option, open the "Apps Using WLAN & Cellular", find "Settings" and make sure that the "Off" option is not selected, but one of the other two options is selected.

Check the status of your WLAN or Cellular network

Please try to open any one or two web pages to check whether your network is connected. If the loading speed is low, then the network status of your connected WLAN or Cellular network may be awful. At this time, please try to connect to other WLANs, move to other places with better signals, or turn on and then turn off the Airplane Mode.
